13.04. The employer supplies the following equipment:(a) safety goggles, when necessary;
(b) burner goggles;
(c) a welding mask;
(d) adequate gloves for the blade shear operator, the brake press operator, the buffer working on buffing machine and to other employees when required by a law or regulation.
In addition, the employer reimburses(a) a maximum amount of $400 every 2 years for the purchase of glasses with a safety frame prescribed to the employee who is required to wear such glasses for work. The amount is paid only on presentation of vouchers;
(b) an amount of $160 yearly for the purchase of safety boots that comply with standard CAN/CSA-Z195-02 to an employee having 1 year of continuous service. The amount is to be paid on 1 September of each year.
For an employee working on 1 September and having less than 1 year of continuous service, the employer shall grant 1/12 of the amount provided for each month beginning with the month following his hiring.
